Hello again and welcome back to another edition of The Hockey Writers Ink. As always, I’ll be your host and my name is Lance Green, who you can follow on Twitter @lngbassist39, and joining me as always is my friend Steel who you can follow on twitter @SteelFlyers52.

In this episode we discussed and debated some of my latest articles. With the first being:  https://flyersnittygritty.com/with-fletchers-infusion-of-young-talent-he-drafted-starting-to-seep-into-the-flyers-lineup-who-might-be-next-to-be-signed/

I gave my opinion on why the Flyers 2020 6th round pick Connor McClennon maybe the next to sign on the dotted line to join the Flyers organization. Although, diminutive in size this now 19-year-old prospect has been lighting up the WHL as of late, and has proven that he may be deserving of a shot with the Lehigh Valley Phantoms sooner rather than later (If indeed the age restrictions to play in the AHL move from 20-years-old to 18 or 19-years-old).

In the second segment of the show Steel and I discuss a very controversial article of mine that came this week.   https://flyersnittygritty.com/at-this-point-is-flyers-travis-sanheim-expendable/

With this particular segment of the show I posed the question of should defenseman Travis Sanheim be considered expendable? Now the quick reaction for most would be NO given his age, but in the article I give a number of reasons why the Flyers should at least consider it a real possibility.

Will you agree or disagree with our opinions? I don’t know, but I guarantee if you watch our latest podcast posted below you will at least walk away with an eye-opening experience if not a new perspective all together on these topics.

  1. We should seriously try to trade TK to Florida”s center prospect Anton Lundell, who is star soon! Just like Yzerman did in Sergatsev trade!
