Welcome back, everyone, to episode #77. In this show, we start by focusing on the draft, mainly two potential top-five prospects who are enticing but who the Flyers should be hesitant about drafting. The Flyers cannot afford to miss on this year’s 1st round pick. They must select a guy who can play as early as next season. The only problem with that is they must do their homework on these young prospects because two of them have already sustained an injury that might develop into a lingering issue in time. In this show, we divulge just who these two players are and just why the Flyers should maybe pass on them come June.

In our second segment, we discuss the Flyers chances of actually landing Barry Trotz as their next coach. Management has already interviewed him, but with teams like Vegas, Winnipeg, and now Dallas out shopping for new head coaches as well, things could prove to get very interesting. What are the chances he signs on in Philly? Besides a blank check, what do the Flyers have to entice him to pick the City of Brotherly Love? Let’s hope he likes Cheesesteaks!

Lastly, we touch on the re-signing of the gritty defenseman Nick Seeler and its implications for Philadelphia’s upcoming youth on the blueline. Was it wise, or should they have delegated his role to Zamula, Wylie, or the newly signed Adam Ginning?
