The NHL All-Star game is usually littered with lot’s of scoring, with no physicality whatsoever. This Four Nations Faceoff Tournament has been the exact opposite littered with hitting, some scoring, fights, overtime, and competitiveness.

it appears the NHL has struck Gold with this event, as each game has been a sellout at the Belle Center in Montreal. Yeah, I understand that Canada is the motherland of hockey, but still. It’s more electric than a singular All-Star game has ever been.
Before this event ensued, some said that this event would remind them of the All-Star game. It’s been anything but, and the players actually care.
This Four Nations Faceoff Tournament should replace the All-Star game, permanently. It’s fun, exciting, and entertaining. More entertaining and eye catching than an All-Star ever has been.

Jack Eichel said last night that the USA/Canada game felt like a Stanley Cup game. The viewers and fans would agree, fir the most part. Kudos to the great fans of Montreal and alike for embracing this tournament.
