The Flyers had a busy day today. They trimmed their training camp roster by four players, and now the roster sits at 40. Here are the list of players the Flyers cut today:
Elliot Desnoyers
Helge Grans
Jordy Bellerive
Jacob Gaucher
All players will report to the Phantoms
Elliot Desnoyers and Helge Grans had good camps. They both should hold their heads up high. Both could be solid recalls in the future. Gaucher and Bellerive were under contract with the Phantoms, so camps were just an added bonus for each. Gaucher did have an assist last night in the 4-3 shootout victory over Boston.

Grans proved he could handle the physicality, but he is still very raw.
In the end, none of these aforementioned cuts should come as a shock. Let’s see how the rest of camp goes. I do expect more roster cuts to happen tomorrow.
