The Flyers have officially signed forward Jack Berglund to a three-year entry-level contract (ELC) that begins with the 2026-27 NHL season.

As part of the deal, the 19-year-old (turning 20 tomorrow) will report immediately to the AHL’s Lehigh Valley Phantoms for the remainder of the 2025-26 season.

Details on the Signing
- Contract: Standard three-year ELC starting 2026-27 (no specific cap hit or bonuses released yet in initial reports).
- Immediate Move: Berglund joins the Phantoms now, allowing him to get acclimated to North American ice, smaller rinks, and AHL pace before his official ELC kicks in.
- Background Context: He still had one year remaining on his contract with Färjestad BK in the SHL. The Flyers had been working to bring him over earlier, but negotiations were complicated until this resolution. Berglund had publicly expressed interest in staying in Sweden for another season, but the organization secured his commitment now.
