The Flyers have signed Rodrigo Abols to a one-year, two-way $775,000 contract.

Abols is 28, and he recorded 26 points (14g-12a) in 50 games with the Rögle BK of the Swedish Hockey League (SHL) last season.
This Centerman is a nice depth piece for the Lehigh Valley Phantoms to start, but we shall see if he cracks the big club.

Abols was originally drafted by the Vancouver Canucks in 2016. He’s a 6’3, 205 pound Center man, who actually skates solidly given his size.
This is not a bad signing by any means means after a strong SHL season, so let’s see if he could get an injury call-up in the future to the big club.
