By now everyone throughout the Philadelphia region and abroad knows that Carter Hart re-signed with the Flyers to a brand new three-year deal, worth an AAV of $3.979 million per Year, which is a nod to his jersey number of #79:

- Carter Hart: “There are no excuses (For last year).”
- Hart can’t wait for opening night with a sold out crowd, “They are the best fan base, I can’t wait.”
- My biggest take away from the Carter Hart presser is he loves the fans of Philadelphia. It appears he misses them, and he can’t wait for opening night in front of the sold-out crowd.
- Carter Hart is ready to go. He is ready for the season folks.
- Carter Hart said the team already had great leadership, but he’s excited for more leadership
- Hart says he has played golf a lot, and he’s gotten good at it.
