Let the games begin folks. Flyers hockey is almost back, and we got you covered. We at Flyers Nitty Gritty are expecting big things from his club this season, and we will have you covered every step of the way.

Mark Friedman has officially made the team outright, and he becomes the second Jewish player in Flyers history to make the team outright, the only other Jewish player for the Flyers to do this was the late Larry Zeidel.

The only surprise in my opinion was Morgan Frost making the roster, and kudos to this young man for making the 23 man roster. Lance Green has highlighted him well, and it comes as no shock to me that he made the team outright. Frost wins the 13th Forward spot and that battle was between Carsen Twarynski, Linus Sandin, and Connor Bunnaman in the end.
