The Flyers continue to get somewhat good news on the injury front, with Carter Hart practicing, but still not yet cleared to play. And of course, Cam Atkinson practicing today again. These are some good signs it’s at the Flyers are starting to get healthier, finally.

Hart, Atkinson, and Anisimov are day to day, but nonetheless the injury big continues to plague this club. Injuries will occur, but the majority of these injuries are important pieces of the overall success of the orange and black.

Flyers’ General Manager Chuck Fletcher provided an update on Sean Couturier today, and it was somewhat good news, but concerning too. The good news is Couturier’s injury will not require surgery, however, the organization still gave no clarity or a definite timeline of return. They said he will still remain week to week.

All injuries are concerning, but Couturier’s injury remains somewhat of a mystery, so it’s understandable that fans are panicking. He’s an important piece to the Flyers overall success, there is no hiding that. Without the services of Coots, this season has the billing to be somewhat like the 2021-22 season, just with them being more competitive due to John Tortorella.

  1. Non-sequitur, but watching the game vs Caps and I see Max Willman in the lineup. Wondering why he’s never in the discussion of the kids ready to crack the lineup. He’s already been up and I thought performed well at times. Thanks in advance.
