It ‘s always busy in Flyer Land. Rest, what rest. From Alexei Kolosov being on the ice at training camp, finally, to signing Spencer Gill to an ELC (Entry-Level-Contract), to more roster cuts.
The Flyers trimmed their roster once again today. The following were cut, and sent to the Lehigh Valley Phantoms:
J.R. Avon
Elliot Desnoyers
Massimo Rizzo
Brendan Furry
Jacob Gaucher
Ronnie Attard, Louie Belpedio, and Rhett Gardner were placed on waivers earlier. If they clear waivers tomorrow they will be sent to the Phantoms. Remember I said yesterday more cuts would take place today, as AHL Training Camps open this weekend.
The Flyers roster now sits at 37. In the end, Jett Luchanko survives another round of cuts. I expect more cuts to take place on Sunday, as the orange and black have off that day.
