The Flyers made a shocking move today. Jacob Gaucher, who is in the midst of his second season with the Lehigh Valley Phantoms, signed a two-year ELC (Entry-Level-Contract).
Gaucher, 23, went undrafted and inked a two-year AHL Deal with the Phantoms this past offseason. He stands at 6’3 and weighs 185-pounds. He totaled 16 points (8g-8a) in 59 regular season games with the Phantoms during the 2023-24 season. Gaucher also spent time with the Reading Royals in 2023-24.
He is a native of Longueuil, Quebec. Maybe he will get sometime with the Flyers after potting two goals last weekend against the Hershey Bears.
