As we all expected, or most for that matter, the Flyers are up and down like a rollercoaster. They win one, lose one, win two, lose two. Unfortunately, they lost again 6-4 last night, with Cam York getting benched in the third period.
The Flyers need to find a way to move well within the Wild Card standings. Especially, when the New York Rangers are reeling at the moment. The orange and black are 14-14-4 at the moment, with the holiday break on the horizon.
Can the Flyers take advantage of this back to back, and win tonight at home? Hopefully, but the Los Angeles Kings are rolling on all cylinders at the moment, and are a very good hockey club.
Of course, the orange and black are in the midst of a rebuild, but that doesn’t mean they can lack consistency. It starts tonight against the Kings. Aleksei Kolosov should get the start in net, with Emil Andrae returning to the lineup.
Remember folks, the roster freeze begins tonight at 11:59 pm, and will last until December 27th at midnight.
