It’s opening night, and yet the Flyers have another injury. Nick Seeler, as everyone knows has missed about the last week of practice after blocking a shot in one of the last pre-season games.
He obviously will not play tonight in the opener, but he has been placed on Injured Reserve (IR)., which will be retroactive to October 1st. With that transaction, the Flyers have recalled young Defenseman Emil Andrae.
Andrae was one of the last cuts by the Flyers, as he put forth one heck of a rookie camp and training camp. What will happen tonight is anyone’s guess, but Andrae will meet the Flyers in Calgary tomorrow.
