Helge Grans has re-signed with the Flyers. The Flyers announced on May 30, 2025, that Grans, a 22-year-old defenseman, signed a two-year, two-way/one-way contract extension with an annual average value (AAV) of $787,500.

This follows his strong performance in the 2024-25 season with the Lehigh Valley Phantoms (AHL), where he recorded eight goals, 15 assists, and 23 points in 66 games, a significant improvement from his previous season.

Grans also made his NHL debut on November 18, 2024, against the Colorado Avalanche, playing six games and earning one assist. As a pending restricted free agent, his performance has positioned him as a contender for a roster spot in the 2025-26 season, especially with injuries creating opportunities on the Flyers’ blue line.
