NHL Free Agency and and it is quite underwhelming for most Flyers fans, however, the Flyers did manage to sign and bring back Justin Braun for another whirl, with a veteran forward that hits and fights formerly of the Minnesota Wild in Nicolas Deslauriers.
Nonetheless, the Flyers have apparently agreed to terms with Right-Handed Defenseman Justin Braun, and he is obviously familiar with the flyers organization. In the event that Ryan Ellis is not 100% healthy to start the season, Braun can be relied upon to handle the heavy lifting on the bottom pairing.
The cap hit turns out to be about $2 million or so for Deslauriers, and apparently it’s a four-year deal. By no means is this what most Flyers fans thought the offseason would turn out to be.
What will happen between now and tomorrow is anyone’s guess. But, the Flyers are still actively searching for a backup Goaltender for Carter Hart, and a Center. Stay tuned Flyers fans.
Chuckles Fletcher is the worst GM in the entire NHL, he needs to be fired asap!
