Keeping the anxiety down during these close games is tough. Take and breath and enjoy the
comeback wins, overtime, and shootouts. Pulling the goalie to tie the game with minutes left, these are all points during the game that Flyers fans will stand up with their hands over there heart, just praying it ends in a positive way for their beloved team. The anxiety that comes with such an event during a game can be extremely intense. The heart races, fans begin to sweat and hope.

Coming off of a big victory against the New York Rangers on Saturday,Flyers fans felt a whole different level of excitement to the season. An excitement some can’t deal with, and some can. But why? Why are the Flyers continuing to struggle all game? Not playing to the full potential we all know they can. Flyers have had impressive win this season, and have had heart disastrous losses that leaves fans saying “Why must you do this to us?”

Last night, the Flyers took on a dreadful Buffalo Sabres team, a team that has six wins and also jumped out to a 3-0 lead in the third period. Then, the anxiety settles in. A goal by Kevin Hayes kicks in the juice for fans everywhere, another goal by Claude Giroux, then the equalizer by Sean Couturier. A whole different kind of anxiety settles in for fans everywhere, will the Flyers prevail? Does Buffalo upset the Flyers? Well, they head to overtime to find out.
Overtime is one of the most exciting periods in all of sports especially in the sport of hockey, the next goal wins it all. An unbelievable play by Claude Giroux sends Travis Konecny and Ivan Provorov on a clean 2-on-1 down the ice, and Provorov ices it with a tremendous goal to win the game.

The win was a big one. In what could of been a complete upset and major concern, ended up with a heart racing overtime victory. The Flyers are back at it again against the same team tomorrow night, so let’s all take a deep breath, perform some yoga or meditation to ease the mind, and get ready for yet another big game. Will the Flyers win or lose? Will it be a heart racing game a complete domination of one team? There us only one way to find out, tune in tomorrow night. Buckle your seatbelt, no one knows what to expect with this team.

That’s my story and I’m sticking to it.

1 thought on “The Flyers Are Keeping Fans On The Edge Of Their Seats

  1. This Flyer’s team is dull. It is hard to watch games, so I DVR them. If the Flyers win, I watch the game. If they lose, I erase it. I can’t imagine actually paying for tickets to a Flyer’s game this year, they’re that bad. After being a diehard fan of this team for almost fifty years, I find hockey played by guys making millions of dollars a year, very very uninspiring. The Flyers are just not worth watching.
