What a week Flyers hockey it was. The Flyers end the week tied the first place in the Metropolitan Division with the Washington Capitals. Moreover, the Flyers are also a big whopping five points ahead of the Pittsburgh Penguins for second place in the Metro (Breathing room). Derek Grant has been a very good addition to this young Flyers team. He now has 1g,4a in six games as a Flyer. Kevin Hayes is now only two goals away from his career high of 25.
What a pass by Michael Raffl, good gosh that was a thing of beauty. Tyler Pitlick with his 8th goal of the year.
What doesn’t Ivan Provorov do well? He does everything well, to include joining the rush. Jakub Voracek is a machine, and now has 1g,13a in his last nine games played.
The hard-working Scott Laughton has been on a tear. He now has 3g,6a in his last seven games played. Laughton has done everything well this season, and is a true Professional.
Provorov with a sick goal. He now has 13 goals on the season. Provy is four goals away from his career high of 17.
Rafffffffl top shelf, “Where momma hides the cookies.” Pitlick continues to excel as a Flyer.
Nate Thompson tallied his first point as a Flyer, an assist, on a goal by NAK. NAK has really paid some huge dividends for the orange and black since his recall.
