Most Flyers fans wanted to know what would be the fallout from Cutter Gauthier electing not to sign with Philadelphia earlier this week. Now I have finally have received an answer.

I’m hearing from a source, who wanted to remain anonymous, who attended last night’s Boston College Hockey game. Flyers fans that showed up with Flyers gear on had to wait 45 minutes to find out if they were allowed to attend or not. They had to get the approval through the Boston College officials. After approximately 45 minutes they were then allowed entry, and escorted to their seats.

Both Gauthier and Kevin Hayes have recently stated they have received some threats, maybe this is why Flyers fans had some difficulty entering the game.

  1. Quitter can go F* himself. Hope his career projects just like Nolan Patrick’s. If he’s got a beef – speak up. Be a man and honestly call out the organization or your selfishness.

  2. I guess tweeting death threats to Cutter and also to Hayes and stating how happy they are that his brother is dead, is just not enough. Anyone catch Elliote Friedman‘s segment with Mike Rupp and Ken Daneyko? He provides the most logical insight as to what Gauthier and his camp decided and mindset when they cut communication off
