Aleksei Kolosov, a Flyers’ goaltender, has been recalled from the AHL’s Lehigh Valley Phantoms. As of today (January 15, 2026), reports indicate he has been recalled again. This appears tied to concerns over goaltender Dan Vladar’s injury status.

  • To make room for Kolosov, I’m hearing that Bobby Brink has been placed on Injury Reserve, in a corresponding move.

This is an emergency/conditional recall, similar to his previous one on December 20, 2025, when he was called up under emergency conditions due to Vladar’s upper-body injury (day-to-day at the time) and other roster needs. He was reassigned back to Lehigh Valley on December 22, 2025, after not playing and once Vladar was cleared.

Kolosov, a 24-year-old from Minsk, Belarus, has had multiple call-ups this season and last. In limited NHL action this year, he’s shown promise in small samples (e.g., 1.62 GAA and .929 SV% in two appearances earlier).
