The Flyers’ 2025 Rookie Camp, starting September 11 in Voorhees, New Jersey, features several prospects worth watching based on recent reports. Here are some key names highlighted for their potential impact:

- Alex Bump (Forward, 21-years-old): Considered the camp headliner, Bump is a winger pushing for a spot on the Flyers’ NHL roster. His performance at the 2025 Development Camp was notable, and he’s expected to be a focal point during the rookie games against the New York Rangers.
- Jett Luchanko (Forward, 19-years-old): A first-round pick from 2024, Luchanko made the Flyers’ NHL roster out of last year’s preseason camp. He missed development camp due to a groin issue but is hoped to be cleared for rookie camp. His progress toward securing a permanent NHL spot is a storyline to follow.
- Jack Nesbitt (Forward, 18-years-old): Selected 12th overall in the 2025 NHL Draft, Nesbitt is a 6’5 two-way center from the Windsor Spitfires (OHL). Known for his size, hockey IQ, and gritty play, he scored the game-winner in overtime during the development camp scrimmage. His skating speed is a concern, but his physicality and 200-foot game make him intriguing.
- Oliver Bonk (Defenseman, 20-years-old): A 2023 first-round pick, Bonk is the top defensive prospect in camp. A right-handed defenseman with high hockey IQ, he helped the London Knights win OHL championships in 2023-24 and 2024-25. His ability to quarterback a power play and shut down opponents is notable.
- Carson Bjarnason (Goaltender, 20-years-old): As he transitions to the professional level, Bjarnason brings intrigue in net. His performance will be closely watched as the Flyers evaluate their goaltending depth.
- Denver Barkey (Forward, 20-years-old): A versatile forward who played a key role in the London Knights’ OHL success, Barkey’s point-per-game production and leadership as team Captain make him a prospect to monitor. His skill set is promising.

Notably, Porter Martone, the Flyers’ top pick from the 2025 draft, will not attend as he’s at Michigan State. The camp includes practices open to the public and two games against the Rangers’ rookies on September 12 and 13 at PPL Center in Allentown, Pennsylvania, offering fans a chance to see these prospects in action.
