It’s a dawn of a new era on Broad Street, a New Era of Orange. With that, the Flyers are the fifth best team in the Eastern Conference, and they also have a new leadership group.

Sean Couturier becomes the 20th Captain in Flyers history
Travis Konecny gets an “A”
Scott Laughton keeps an “A”

Coots more than deserves this honor, as he speaks like a Captain on a daily basis, “You have to just try and stay focused on what we are there for and get the win,” Couturier said following practice today.

Konecny was a shoe in to at least have a letter, whole Laughton always speaks like a leader. This is great news right before the Stadium Series game, and congratulations to each and every one of these fine players/leaders.
