Ryan Marker played a key role in leading Team USA to the gold medal game at the 2025 World Games Inline Hockey Championships in Chengdu, China, held from August 7–11, 2025.
For those that forget, Marker used to play for the Delaware Thunder, and He did try out for the Flyers affiliate, the Reading Royals.
As a Forward representing New Jersey, Marker helped Team USA dominate Group A, defeating China 20-1, and Chinese Taipei, before edging out France 2-1 in the semifinals. They faced the Czech Republic in the Gold Medal Final on August 11, finishing the tournament with a +29 goal differential. Marker’s performance was pivotal in Team USA’s strong run.
Team USA won the Gold Medal Final against the Czech Republic 4-3 in Overtime, marking Team USA as back to back champs for this tournament.
