Ryan Marker registered the first hat trick in Delaware Thunder history this past Saturday against the Elmira Enforcers. The Thunders offense has been inconsistent as of late, and getting this boost from a natural in Marker was huge for this team moving forward. One game they score three goals, the next game they score just one goal. Hopefully, Marker corrects this inconsistency, and is able to produce for a Thunder club that desperately is in need of a victory.
Marker has just been on a tear this season. He leaves players and goaltenders alike scratching their heads like, “What the heck just happened.” Maybe it’s the fans that are giving him an extra boost, “They are awesome. They haven’t let up from the start till now. They even have a Thunda pack.” Moreover, Marker told me last week that the Thunder are like, “The Broad Street Bullies,” (Flyers past time nickname), in a way. The Thunder can fight with the best of them when that time arises.
A young stud in Marker, doesn’t to often disappoint his family in attendance, nor the proud Thunder fans that make the trek for games. He usually puts on a show, as he pots a beautiful goal after a beautiful goal. Marker razzles and dazzles, then goes, “Top shelf where momma hides the cookies.”
The young 25-year-old in Marker pushes the play, and is physical enough to handle the rigors of a full FHL hockey season. Marker works hard in the summer, weight wise, for physicality purposes. Moreover, he also looks good with the pace of game against most teams, as well. For the season, Marker leads the team in scoring as he has tallied 12 goals, and 10 assists in 10 games played. The young man just continues to soar to new heights.
Marker appears to be a natural, and a player that knows how to score goals. He looks very good this season for the Thunder, especially with the way he carries the puck up the ice. If he keeps producing like he currently is doing, then make no mistake Marker has a good shot at reaching the ECHL possibly next season. Whatever the case maybe, Marker is what the doctor ordered, offensive wise, for this young Thunder team.
Ryan is a natural goal scorer. Tremendous hands
