First Period
Mason Millman kicked things off with his first of the post-season just over the four-minute mark, at 4:14. Evan Barrat put the Royals up two with his third of the playoffs on the man advantage at 12:44. Pavel Gogolev put the Growlers on the board with a power play tally for his second of the playoffs at 16:48. Nolan Walker knotted things up with his third of the post-season at 18:10.
Second Period
Mikko Kokkonen put the Growlers on top with his second of the playoffs at 15:03. Evan Barrat notched his second goal, fourth of the post-season at 15:18 to tie things up at three.
Third Period
Devon Paliani netted his second of the post-season to put Reading on top at 1:47. Mikko Kokkonen found twine again, for his third of the post-season at 7:55.
Overtime
After putting the pressure on for the first twelve minutes of the period, the tide turned. Colin Felix was assessed an arguable minor penalty for holding at 12:19. Just six seconds into the man advantage, at 12:25 Zach Solow netted the game-winning goal.
