First Period
Connor Doherty kicked things off with his first of the post-season at 6:13. Jacob Gaucher knotted things up by sliding the puck past Brassard with his second of the post-season at 12:07. Mathew Santon put the Mariners back on top with his first of the playoffs at 18:22. Maine outshot Reading 17-6 for the period.
Second Period
Charlie Gerard evened things up with his second of the post-season at 1:24. Gabriel Chicoine put Maine back up with his first of the post-season at 4:36. Curtis Hall extended the Mariners lead with his second of the post-season late in the period on the man-advantage at 19:24.
Third Period
Carter Johnson extended the Mariners’ lead as he did with all three of his third-period goals, at 6:18. Johnson again scored at the 15:18 mark. Ryan Cook for Reading brought the game within three at the 17:08 mark. Carter Johnson then, sealed the Mariners’ game 4 win with his hat-trick scoring empty-netter at 18:14.
