First Period
Colin Felix kicked things off by netting his 7th of the year at the 6:10 mark of the period. Brett Stapley knotted things up forcing the puck home at 7:44 for his 10th of the season. The Royals outshot the Lions 11-9 in the period with the score tied up at 1.

Second Period
Max Newton found an opening between the left post to put the Royals back up early into the period, just 38 seconds in. Jacob Gaucher put the Royals up two 30 seconds later at the 1:08 mark. Max Newton fired home his 2nd of the game on the power play putting Reading up three at the 14:00 mark. William Lemay brought the game back with two netting his 2nd of the season on the man advantage at 16:42. Jacob Gaucher put the lead back up three with his 2nd of the game, 22nd of the season sliding the puck under the pad of Montpetit at the 19:42 mark.
Third Period
Colin Felix scored the only goal in the period. He netted his 2nd of the game, and 8th of the season at 11:37. About a minute later at 12:35 CĂ©dric Lacroix jumped Royals Solag Bakich, he would receive 2 minutes for instigating, 2 minutes for cross-checking, 5 minutes for fighting, and a 10-minute game misconduct. Colin Felix would cap off his night by dropping the gloves with Lions forward James Phelan at 19:55.Â
