Finland absolutely dominated Italy with an 11-0 rout (a complete blowout to finish second in Group B). Flyers’ Defenseman Rasmus Ristolainen chipped in with exactly two assists for Team Finland:

- One on Kaapo Kakko’s goal (assisted by Niko Mikkola and Ristolainen).
- Another on Joel Kiviranta’s goal (assisted by Niko Mikkola and Ristolainen).

Ristolainen was one of several players with multi-point games—Mikko Rantanen led with 3 assists, while Erik Haula and Eetu Luostarinen also had 2 assists each. Finland’s offense was firing on all cylinders, with goals spread across the lineup (Kaapo Kakko had 2 goals + 1 assist, Mikael Granlund, Sebastian Aho, and Joel Kiviranta each scored twice, etc.).This was a statement win for the Finns after their earlier results in the tournament.
