Providence rolls into town following a 4-2 win Wednesday night over Hartford. Despite Providence sitting in 2nd place in the Atlantic with a record of 25 – 9 – 7, 2 of the OT losses and 3 of the regulation losses are coming in the last 10 games. The Bruins are 5 – 3 – 2 in their last 10.

Vinni Lettieri leads the Bruins in points with 37 (16 G, 21 A) at the time though per, AHL he is currently inactive. Someone who is currently active and is in 2nd is Georgii Merkulov. Merkulov has 27 points (9 G, 18 A), impressively Georgii is only a rookie. He sits in 10th among all rookie point scorers. 

Olle Lycksell leads the Phantoms in points with 32 (8 G, 24 A) in 31 GP giving him an average of 1.03 points per game. Tyson Foerster trailed right behind with 29 points (16 G, 13 A) and leads the team in power-play goals with 5. Elliot Desnoyers as a rookie has 25 points (14 G, 11 A) for the Phantoms. Elliot sits 14th among all rookie point scorers.

Sam Ersson for the Phantoms has a record of 12 – 9 – 1, with a .909 SV% and 2.72 GAA in 22 GP. Sam has a record of 5 – 0 up with Philadelphia this season.

Lehigh Valley sits in 4th place, 3 points behind the Charlotte Checkers. Phantoms post a record of 21 – 16 – 3 – 2 overall, 6 – 3 -1 in their last 10 games. Providence sits 2 points behind Hershey who also plays on the road tonight in Bridgeport. Providence leads the Atlantic in penalty minutes with 634, Phantoms are in 3rd in the Atlantic with 563.
