As the NHL season begins to come together and the Flyers’ players start to make it back to town the energy is palpable. The Wold Junior Championship is still just days away from puck drop, but hockey is back. While that becomes a reality, the opportunities to play hockey expand as some of the best hockey players in the wold come together for a unique opportunity to play under COVID-19 restrictions. If you’re following the World Junior Championships this season, make sure to focus on two of the Flyers top young prospects in Cam York and Bobby Brink. Both players have impressively made a very powerful USA squad and look to play large roles on the roster. There will be plenty for fans to root for in a couple weeks as players from all throughout the depth chart will be playing hockey once again.

On this week’s episode of Gettin Gritty Wit It, Yariv Wolok (@ywolok) welcomes back, Athletic Writer and Flyers subject matter expert, Alex Appleyard to the podcast to talk about the upcoming Flyers season, players looking to make an impact, and the top Flyers prospects participating in hockey around the world. Don’t miss this one out, as Alex always provides excellent detail.
