On this episode of Gettin Gritty Wit It, we welcome back friend of the show Colby Cohen. Colby brings years of playing experience playing in the NCAA, AHL, and NHL as well as, a recent color commentator and analyst for the Philadelphia Flyers and NBC Sports. This episode is all about analyzing the Flyers first six games of the season as they find themselves in 5th place in the East division.
The Flyers have fallen victim to a couple losses of late, one in a shootout and the other, a brutal regulation loss. However, it’s still early in the season and Colby Cohen does not seem concerned about the Flyers erratic early seasons. The Flyers young defense and depth is being tested early in the season and the attention to detail has not been there. That in combination with the recent injury issues and the results seem somewhat understandable. However, there are plenty of positives to take away from the small sample size.
