The Flyers have had a rough time of late and find themselves down in the series 3-1 to the New York Islanders. After winning a tense game 2, the Flyers were not able to secure wins in back-to-back games over the weekend. Ironically the Flyers just played some of their best hockey of the post season with a dominant 2nd period of a 3-2 loss in game 4. While the Flyers still lost, they definitely seem like they are gaining momentum. Can they carry it into game 5 and push the Islanders to the limit? It’s always one game at a time, but the Flyers seem confident that they can turn it around and that’s always the first step. When the Flyers came back against the Boston Bruins a decade ago, they never seemed out of any game. This series doesn’t feel that different.
