Owen Tippett is absolutely on fire right now for the Flyers. The 27-year-old winger (drafted 10th overall by Florida in 2017, traded to Philly in 2022) has been lighting up the scoresheet recently.

In the 2025-26 campaign so far, he’s racked up 22 goals and 18 assists for 40 points through 65 games, with a solid shooting percentage and big contributions on both the Power Play and even shorthanded (he’s had some absolute rockets while killing penalties).
Tippett had his fair share of hot streaks—multiple hat tricks in his career, game-winners, and that classic “Tippett on fire” chant pops up whenever he goes on a tear.
“He’s the best, he’s literally the best. And when he’s skating like that it’s unbelievable, and to play with him it’s such a treat,” Trevor Zegras said post game against the Washington Capitals.

Tipper’s looking like he’s hittin that high-end potential as a big, fast sniper. He’s locked in long-term too with an 8-year, $49.6M extension, so now the Flyers are banking off his value. For his efforts, Tippett has three goals and one assist in his last four games played, and he’s been very physical with the puck. Every time he has the puck he’s been dangerous.
“I’ve never seen anything like it, the skill, the speed, the shot. It’s unbelievable,” Flyers’ Forward Travis Konecny said post game against the Washington Capitals. “Just got so much potential, and I love when he realizes it, ‘Hey this is my game and I’m taking over.’ Awesome player, awesome guy.”
Recently, Tippett’s been a blast to watch—pure goal-scorer energy. What’s got you fired up about him lately? Any specific play or streak?
