The definition of a class act by the Merriam Dictionary is:
“A person or thing displaying impressive and stylish excellence.”
Sean Couturier is the definition of a class act. He didn’t want to break the bank on this new deal because he wants to win a Stanley Cup. Here are the notes to Couturier’s presser with the media today.
- Sean Couturier: “I want to win a Stanley Cup or championship, I didn’t want to break the bank.”
- Coots chuckles, “Since the start of my career I’ve always signed extensions.”
- Coots mentioned that he will have some family over tomorrow. He said it’s nice to celebrate, but the work begins.
- Coots is happy Ristolainen is on the team. He said you always had to be aware (Physicality) when he was on the ice.
- Coots welcomed all the new players to Philly through text.
- “The fans have always treated me well, and I feel the same way.” – Sean Couturier
- Coots: “I’m here to play hockey.”
- “I’m excited about the team and the future.” – Sean Couturier
- Coots says, “All the moves that Chuck made we got a great mix.”
