Bobby Brink and Jamie Drysdale are still being evaluated for injuries sustained during the Flyers’ game against the Anaheim Ducks on January 6.

What Happened

  • Bobby Brink left early in the first period after a high hit from Ducks forward Jansen Harkins. The Flyers ruled him out for the game with an upper-body injury.
  • Jamie Drysdale exited in the second period after a blindside hit from Ducks forward Ross Johnston (who was ejected with a game misconduct). His injury was listed as undisclosed.

Neither player participated in the Flyers’ optional practice on January 7, and Head Coach Rick Tocchet provided no further update on their status beyond confirming they are “still being evaluated” (though he noted both were in good spirits after speaking with them).

Matvei Michkov Update

“Yea he’s skating today. I’m pretty sure he will be in tomorrow )Today),” Tocchet said of Michkov’s status for tonight’s game against the Toronto Maple Leafs.
