  • He missed Tuesday’s game against the Columbus Blue Jackets (a 3-2 loss) and did not practice on Wednesday.
  • Head coach Rick Tocchet noted earlier that Grebenkin had been “battling” the issue for a couple of games and went for further tests/doctor evaluation on Wednesday.
  • This timeline means he’s expected to miss multiple upcoming games (including Thursday vs. Chicago Blackhawks) but could potentially return in roughly 1-1.5 weeks, depending on the re-evaluation.

Grebenkin has recorded four goals, 10 assists (14 points), along with 48 PIM and 86 hits in 55 games this 2025-26 season. His absence adds to the Flyers’ Forward injuries (they’re also without Tyson Foerster and others). The team is calling up or adjusting the lineup accordingly—Emil Andrae was expected to return on defense for Thursday’s game. This is a standard short-term upper-body injury protocol in the NHL.
