First Period
Keenan Suthers kicked things off taking advantage of the Royals’ early shift errors, just 14 seconds into the game. Max Newton tied things up with a quick response fir his fifth of the post-season at 2:10. Tommy Miller put the Growlers back on top with his second of the playoffs at 12:36. Nolan Walker extended the Growlers’ lead with his fourth of the post-season on the man-advantage at 16:39.Â
Second Period
Tyler Boland put Newfoundland up three with his first of the playoffs at 3:32. Isaac Johnson ended Pat Nagle’s night with his fourth of the post-season at 4:44. Brandon Kruse welcomed Kaden Fulcher to the game, netting his first of the playoffs at 7:38.
Third Period
Evan Barratt cut into the Growlers’ lead, firing a one-time feed for his fifth of the post-season on the power play at 10:11. Brendan Hoffman capped off the goal-scoring, batting home his own rebound short-handed at 18:01. At 18:48 4 players, 3 Royals, and 1 Growler all received 10-minute game misconducts.
