Memorial Day as defined by the Oxford Dictionary is: A day on which those who died in active military service are remembered, traditionally observed on May 30 but now officially observed on the last Monday in May.
These soldiers are heroes, and these men and women are just one reason we are here to enjoy our families and friends today. We shall never forget those that have made the ultimate sacrifice.
The Philadelphia Warriors, a local organized hockey team, have ties to the Philadelphia Flyers organization. A popular Flyer alumni Brad Marsh is the Head Coach of these former heroes who have served in the United States Military.
