Islanders Max Tsyplakov has been suspended 3 Games for an illegal Check to the Head of Ryan Poehling.
It’s really baffling how there wasn’t a penalty assessed for this infraction, even after being reviewed.
Scott Laughton was fined earlier in the day for a cross check to the back of Max Tsyplakov in the third period of play. Laughton was fined $5,000 for that.
Jett Luchanko named Captain
Jett Luchanko has been named Captain of the Guelph Storm for the rest of the season. He becomes the 33rd Captain in history for this storied franchise.
