With Matvei Michkov set to join the Philadelphia Flyers this upcoming season, a level of talent the organization has not seen since the likes of Eric Lindros is about to be infused into the roster.
For the majority of his professional career so far, Michkov has played against talent older than him. Especially since age 16 and onwards where the talented winger has been in the KHL primarily.
One interesting thing we discussed on the latest Gettin Gritty Wit It was Michkov’s play and the skill shown in games as a 15 year old. In these games he faced off against talent that was his own age and completely dominated.
