Matvei Michkov is a part of NHL history , just 23 games into his brief professional career in North America. He scored his third career overtime goal, which is tied for the most by a teenager in NHL history. The others: Sidney Crosby, Rick Nash and Ilya Kovalchuk, Per NHL Stats.
Of course, that means the Flyers won, but it’s how they won. Travis Konecny made a beautiful saucer pass to Michkov for the game winner:

The Flyers are now 8-2-2 in their last 12 games played. They are wreaking havoc on the league, and have found themselves in a peculiar spot, from the how the season first started. The orange and black own the second Wild Card spot if the season ended today.
They need to focus on winning, and with that–it appears the team has found an identity. They need to continue their winning ways on Thursday against a very good Florida Panthers team.
