The Lehigh Valley Phantoms, Flyers’ affiliate, start their 11th season in the region, and all home games will take place at the PPL Center.
This 2024-25 season for the Phantoms will start at home on October 12, 2024 against the Hartford Wolf Pack, and it will conclude on April 19, 2025 against the reigning champs the Hershey Bears.
The AHL Playoffs are slated to begin on April 21st it appears, and the new change is now 23 teams will make the playoffs this season.
One of the biggest attractions, game wise, is a holiday matchup against the Charlotte Checkers on New Year’s Eve. The World’s Largest Puck Drop will return, according to the Phantoms. This has been a fun spectacular event in years past. Some other notable games will be against three new opponents from the Western Conference the Grand Rapids Griffins (OCT 26-27), Milwaukee Admirals (March 19), and the Rockford IceHogs (January 18) when they make their first ever appearances to the PPL Center.
