Known as an offensive demon, Karsen Dorwart knows how to drive and finish plays. He has a high-end motor, and can accelerate in the blink of an eye.

Dorwart will head straight to the Flyers, largely, due to the Flyers not having any recalls left on the season. Reporting to the Flyers only makes sense, especially in case of injury. That way the big club doesn’t have to disrupt the Lehigh Valley Phantoms playoff push

Dorwart is a Center that stands at 6’1, and weighs 194 pounds. He registered 13 goals and 18 assists on the season in 35 games played for Michigan State University.

Most teams this time of year are either against the cap, or have reached their maximum limit in contractual contracts. Not in the Flyers case.

The Flyers have signed Karsen Dorwart to a 2-year ELC, worth $975,000 per year. He will become an RFA at the conclusion of the 2025-26 season.

Dorwart makes the tough plays look easy, and this kid can shoot with the best of them, couple that with his great skating abilities. Dorwart also has great vision of the ice. Many teams were interested in the services, but the Flyers wanted him badly, and were able to sign him.

It’s to my understanding, the Flyers want size down the middle, now enter Dorwart, a sizable Center. Let’s see how this pans out.

  1. So it’s to the ahl he goes. They do not care about the phantoms playoff run other than the over value time there especially come playoff time.
