Flyers’ Head Coach John Tortorella doesn’t shy away from anything, in most cases. I firmly believe he did not do the post-game press conference on Thursday night because he was going to dig into the referees, thus he would have been fined.
Today’s game against the Boston Bruins featured some sketchy calls, especially the third period. This unfortunately allowed the Boston Bruins to eventually win the game 4-3 in overtime.
“Let me start,” Flyers Head Coach John Tortorella said following the game during the post-game presser. “One thing I teach my team to do is not dive. Maybe I should start teaching them that. The way this is gone here, the way this shit has gone on here. Maybe I should teach them how to dive.”
Tortorella continues, “It’s one thing we talk about all the time. There’s no cheating, there’s no embarrassing referees. What’s going on here tonight, It’s just ridiculous, I’m proud of the way our team played, did we piss another one away, yeah, but other people had to do with that.”

In the end, Tortorella did enough not to get fined, but is he lying Flyers fans? Thoughts?
