Jett Luchanko is set to return for the OHL playoffs with the Brantford Bulldogs. The official announcement came from the Bulldogs on March 25, 2026: Forward Jett Luchanko will be back in the lineup for Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Quarterfinals on Friday night.
Luchanko had been sidelined with an injury (Fractured Jaw). Earlier updates in March indicated he was week-to-week but expected to be ready for the playoffs, and the timeline aligned perfectly.
- Luchanko started the season with the Guelph Storm (where he had been captain), was traded to the Brantford Bulldogs in late November 2025, and has put up strong numbers there (e.g., contributing significantly in limited games while adjusting to the new team).
- Brantford is a top seed in the East and positioned well for a deep playoff run.
- As a Flyers prospect, his development continues in the OHL at age 19/20. He has had brief NHL looks in prior seasons but has been focusing on junior/AHL growth. chl.ca
