Jack Nesbitt, a Flyers’ first-round pick (12th overall) in the 2025 NHL Draft, is indeed showing signs of heating up in his current OHL season with the Windsor Spitfires. As of mid-February 2026, the 19-year-old center has recorded 41 points (16 goals, 25 assists) in 42 games.

That’s solid production for a big, two-way forward in his draft-plus-one season, putting him right around a point-per-game pace overall.Recent hot streak:

  • In his last two games (as noted in Flyers-focused reporting), he tallied two goals and one assist.
  • He’s been consistent point-wise outside of one rough stretch earlier in the year (January 10–24, where he had just two assists in eight games). Removing that dip, his scoring would push him well over a Point Per Game.

Some of his highlights from his play include some highlight-reel moments, like nasty backhand goals, filthy hands on penalty shots, and strong board battles that elevate his linemates. He has good hockey sense, forechecking ability, he’s defensively reliable, and his ability to drive play is strong—traits the Flyers targeted when they traded up (giving up picks 22 and 31 to Pittsburgh) to select him.

Nesbitt is a prototypical Power Forward Center with room to grow physically and offensively, and his development in Windsor (a competitive OHL squad) is key for the Flyers’ rebuild. While some prospect debates compare him to others or question upside, his recent output and flashes of skill are encouraging for Philly fans.
