Jack Berglund had a strong showing at the 2025 World Junior Summer Showcase (WJSS) in Minneapolis, representing Team Sweden.

As Captain, he showcased his two-way center skills, notably scoring a goal in Sweden’s victory over Team USA Blue on July 27, 2025. His performance highlighted his physical presence, hockey IQ, and ability to drive play, though his skating needs refinement for NHL-level competition.
Berglund’s contributions at the WJSS underscored his potential as a reliable bottom-six forward for the Flyers, who selected him in the second round of the 2024 NHL Draft. He recorded four goals and three assists (4+3) across five games, contributing significantly to Sweden’s four wins out of five matches, and he also finished with the tournament lead in points with seven.

His standout moments included scoring a goal in a 5-2 victory over Team USA Blue on July 27, two goals in a 6-3 win against the United States on July 30, and a Power Play goal in a 3-1 loss to Finland on August 2. Berglund’s leadership, two-way play, and offensive output made him a key figure at the tournament, showcasing his potential as a 2024 second-round pick (51st overall) by the Philadelphia Flyers.
