Today is the day folks. Welcome to the NHL Draft lottery day, where the Flyers will move up to the top pick or the second pick of the 2023 NHL Draft. The Flyers and Interim General Manager Danny Briere will then draft either Connor Bedard or Adam Fantilli on draft day which is June 28, 2023.

It’s not about if, it’s going to happen as the Flyers hold a 6.5% shot at moving up to the top pick. At least they have a shot, as many have seen in the past anything can happen as long as you’re giving a shot to do such.

If the Flyers move up to the top pick, or even if they move to the second overall pick. Let’s go Flyers chants will be heard throughout every household that bleed the orange and black.

The Flyers need this, the Flyers faithful also need this. It’s been a tough few years in Philadelphia recently. The orange and black are currently in the midst of a rebuild, to which they haven’t made the playoffs for the past three seasons. One player doesn’t change the entire franchise, but what this one player would do for the Flyers is alter the direction of the rebuild, in a sense that it would speed up the rebuild.
