Player Profile – Episode 2 – RW Travis Konecny
Travis Konecny is fast, agile, and lethal. A spark plug of the Flyers offense, Konecny is one of the main play drivers for the Flyers. Taken late in the 1st round, Konecny is looking like a steal that should have not been available so late in the draft. Making the NHL at 19 as an undersized winger is not common, even in today’s NHL and Konecny came in with nothing but high promise. With a Junior career that rivals captain Claude Giroux the Flyers have themselves another future top of the league performer.
