Let me start off by saying, I know this is a Flyers page. However, I decided to write this story in honor of the Eagles parade today, coupled with the fact that this young man Trey Howard is a hero.

Trey Howard “Andre” is just 10-years-old, and he’s a real hero. He’s no childhood hero, he’s a hero that saved his young sister from flying debris from the plane crash that occurred in Northeast Philadelphia close to two weeks ago. Howard was found with metal in his head, and he didn’t blink an eye eye to save somebody else, by covering and shielding his sister from flying debris from a plane that crashed in Northeast Philadelphia.
As a matter of that he woke up in the hospital saying, “Daddy did I save my sister,” according to various news outlets. He also asked if he missed the Super Bowl, which at that time didn’t transpire yet. AJ Brown caught wind of this, and promised to play the Super Bowl in Trey’s honor.

AJ Brown visited Trey at CHOP a few days ago with the Lombardi Trophy in hand. Brown kept his original promise, to which he said that the Eagles would be playing the Super Bowl in honor of Trey, given his courageous efforts to save his sister.
What a courageous young man. He did something a lot of us would hesitate or buckle under the pressure. He did not do any of that, and acted swiftly to save his sister. Trey is a real life hero.
Eagles Fans enjoy the day, in Trey’s honor.
