“It’s the most wonderful time of the year” was a popular Christmas song sung by Andy Williams in 1963, and for Flyers fans that observe the Christmas holiday this year. They will have tons to cheer about this year, asides from singing the hit song by Andy Williams with their families and friends. Two young, highly touted Flyers prospects in Bobby Brink and Cam York will play in the IIHF 2021 World Juniors starting on Christmas Day nonetheless.
The Americans, spear-headed by a puck moving defenseman in Cam York, and a player that will shoot a cannon from anywhere in Bobby Brink will play Russia at 930 pm EST. on Christmas Day. York utilizes his speed well, and does well to create gaps in both the defensive and offensive zones. He has a quick release, which keeps goalies guessing, and his passing ability ranks off the charts. Simply put, Fletcher found a replacement in the future if the Flyers lose a defenseman to the expansion draft, following the 2020-21 season.
Brink has a wicked blast, as he can shoot from anywhere, but Brink can do it accurately in the same token. If a Defenseman has the guts to stand in the way of his hard slap shot…good luck, or better yet…good riddance:
